UTRGV – Use Case (University of Rio Grande, Texas)


University of Texas Rio Grande Valley needed an easy & cost effective solution for queueing around the university at various touch points, these include computer labs and student services.

WhyQ provides a Touch Screen iPad kiosk for Students to join & instant notifications sent to staff to alert them they are students waiting for an appointment.

To whom it may concern:

We needed a solution to allow students to sign in for services at 3 different stations in the campus, and after looking at several solutions, we settled on WHYQ. The primary reason was cost, but we quickly learned that the support that came with our purchase was worth a lot more, and found the WHYQ team to be very responsive to our special requests, and very helpful with additional configuration and support issues.

The product is simple to use and easy to configure and although we are using the product as a check-in station for service and not like a typical retail or restaurant, it still works very well for our needs.
